What A Long Week...
Journal Entry: Tue May 27, 2008, 3:14 PM
This entire week has been busy and no time to myself what so ever. After I got home from Texas, a friend of mine from high school wanted to come spend a couple of days with me, so I told her sure. Wednesday night she came over and she helped my mom and I to feed all the dogs. We went from 5 dogs to 8 again... bleh. After that we watched Rocky Horror, that was the first time I've seen it. It's a.... ok... movie? Not my cup of tea, but I did enjoy some of the scenes, but again, not something I'd go out and buy. Later on after dinner, she stumbled upon some games my parents and I use to play together for a family night when we had time. We played UNO, which I rule at, lol, then LIFE. We were going to play Clue, but she found a movie out of my stash and we watched that before falling asleep.
Next day and the day after was basically the same thing. We need to sell our last three puppies, so my mo would drag us out all day and we had to sit and watch the puppies; we took UNO with us. It really kept us sane in the heat. Then when we would return home, we'd feed the dogs and she'd find a movie to watch or do what she does the most... talk. This week was one long conversation. She is like Bluestreak; she can talk for a long time and take very little breaths. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed having her company, but I like silence when I watch movies and stuff, specially when I'm trying to sleep. When she starts, she doesn't stop and she repeats herself for a few minutes before she finally gets to the main point and then continues to ramble. Don't try to interrupt her or add your own opinion in. She either doesn't hear you and continues on, or she stops, listens, and then start all over from the beginning with all of the repeats again. Which just ruins the purpose of trying to interrupt her.
Well, her couple of days turned into fours nights and 5 days of staying. So, she was here for a week, and I couldn't be rude to a friend and be like "Go home, leave me alone for a while." Well, Sunday she finally left and I thought I was going to get a break for a while, nope, mom returned home with the puppies and my friend Kelly that went and helped her. Since, we were going to go back out Monday and try selling them again, Kelly spent Sunday night with us. I was a little miffed about it, because I was hoping to have my bed and room to myself and get some drawing done, but it was not to be. Kelly is cool to. She's only 14, 15? But she likes a lot of things that I like, so she found out I had all of the Alien movies and the Predator movies.
Well, we watched Predator, then we went in the kitchen for some reason and I ended up telling her ghost stories and such from back home. Well, the dogs were throwing a fit and we ended up standing outside in the pitch black looking around for anything, while mom drove around the land searching. I like playing a good prank every now and then, specially if I can scare someone, so I started to stare out into the dark field really intently and she was clinging to me. Then, I grabbed her arm and screamed "oh my God! what is that?!" She started to scream and then hit me as I began to laugh my ass off. After all of that was done, she decided she wanted to watch Mulan I &II, so I let her while I ended up doing some Transformers doodles.
Well, last night after we BBQ'd and brought her home, I went straight to my Queen size bed and collapsed in it and hugged all of my pillows to me. I finally had my solitude! It was great! No one is going to be spending some time at my house for a while, Hehe, well I'm suppose to be going to see Indiana Jones tonight, and after I will scan the scratch doodles and semi- decent drawings later.
